Napa Valley is one of the most beautiful wine countries to visit. I absolutely love the beautiful hills, stunning vineyards, amazing sunsets and is an ideal getaway to just sit back, relax and appreciate the bounties of nature.
One of the best things about visiting Napa is that you get to visit beautiful wineries and taste different wines. You get the opportunity to interact with tasting room hosts, local winemakers who share fascinating backstories behind different types of wines and they also teach you how to taste wine, pair it with cheese, and the nuances behind each sip.
Some of the wineries that I recently visited; Beringer, V. Sattui Winery, and Castello di Amorosa. If this seems like your paradise as much as it does mine, let’s toast to Napa Valley.
Pictured above is the Beringer winery- It is a beautiful family-owned winery since the 1800s. You can do the wine tasting at the bar or outdoors in the middle of vineyards or just enjoy the architecture.
V. Sattui Winery– This lovely winery is perfect for a picnic and for big groups. They have a big deli full of awesome lunch options, food trucks and picnic tables. It is one of my favorite spots, because of the incredible food options and the lively atmosphere.
Pictured above is the Castello di Amorosa winery, it’s a castle, literally. An architecturally stunning contemporary winery. One of my favorite places to bring newcomers to Napa because of it’s gargantuan appeal and a nice view of the vineyards.
